Why we made this
Sunscreen we
actually wanted
to use every day.
Sunritual Co started in 2024 with two requirements: it had to be mineral, and it had to feel good enough to wear without thinking. Everything else — the shade range, the formats, the after-sun, the lip balm in every pocket — followed from that.
The four rules
What we
won't ship.
A short list. We say no to a lot of things so we can say yes to a few — and mean it.

Mineral only.
Non-nano zinc oxide is the only UV filter we ship. No oxybenzone, octinoxate, or octocrylene — anywhere in the line.

No greenwashing.
If we say reef-safe, we mean it. If we say fragrance-free, we mean it. We will not borrow a word we did not earn.

Reapplication-first.
We design for hour three, not minute one. The sticks fit in your back pocket. The face fluid sits under makeup. The lip balm is cheap on purpose.

Test where it counts.
Our team field-tests at UV 8–10 in northern New Mexico before a single formula leaves the studio. We have very tan necks to show for it.
